Abstract

The current project began in 2021 due to the economic situation faced by the company during the pandemic. Only customs agency services were provided. As a result of this problem, the company was financially limited, which led to staff cuts, which in turn led to increased workloads and administrative responsibilities being concentrated in fewer people. Due to these circumstances, this research was carried out with the aim of providing some suggestions and alternatives aimed at a structural problem, therefore, it is considered as that everyday problem that generates certain limitations in economic income.

The importance of implementing a comprehensive logistics service allowed for a direct benefit in the company's income. This is why different alternatives were addressed that helped to define the scope that was suggested in the research topic. The comprehensive strategy was made up of the customs agency, trading company, logistics service, transportation, and warehousing. However, the focus was mainly directed to the first three mentioned, with the aim of establishing short and medium-term goals.

In chapters 1 and 2, the background was presented, the main scope was identified, as well as the specific scopes, and based on these, the research questions were designed and later the hypotheses were defined. The main objective was to determine the impact of the comprehensive service on the economic income in a customs agency in the import and export of goods. The possible relationship that could exist with the services that made up the comprehensive logistics was analyzed, considering the great importance it had on the economic growth of the company.

In chapter 3, the conceptual framework is found where the main variables are mentioned, which are economic income and comprehensive logistics services. As a complementary part in this section, the main factors that helped to operate this project were added, that is, logistics service, trading company, transportation, and warehousing. With emphasis on the previous framework, the referential was developed where models, types, classifications, transitions, sets of strategies for all factors and variables were integrated. Finally, the state of the art is found, which emphasized the comments and opinions of the different authors who carried out research related to the topic focused on the comprehensive logistics service.

In chapter 4, the application of the selected methodology was carried out step by step, as well as the description of the materials that were used for it. In this case, the methodology developed was quantitative, longitudinal, and evolutionary. In chapter 5, the collection of results was carried out, where a trend analysis was carried out based on the time series statistical model, as well as the Pearson coefficient with a 95% confidence index, in order to verify whether the hypotheses raised had a statistically significant correlation and/or association for the solution of the problem raised.

In chapter 6, the conclusion was presented with the data obtained, as well as the pertinent recommendations so that the solution would be sustainable. Likewise, the application of this model was suggested in the storage and transportation services, which are still in the process of being implemented. Finally, it was concluded that the introduction had a general overview of the research topic.
